Name: Geowave GW US11S Wireless LAN USB Adapter Driver
Author: Geowave

Question 1

Installer fails or rolls back?

Accepted Answer

Extract the ZIP fully, right-click the GW US11S setup and run as administrator. Confirm the correct 32-bit/64-bit package, temporarily disable antivirus, reboot, then retry.

Question 2

Adapter not detected?

Accepted Answer

Plug it directly into a rear USB 2.0 port, not a hub. In Device Manager, check for an unknown device or Network adapter; uninstall it, unplug/replug the adapter, and scan for hardware changes.

Question 3

Driver conflicts or dropped connections?

Accepted Answer

In Device Manager, uninstall the old wireless adapter driver and select “Delete the driver software,” reboot, then install the current GW US11S package. Avoid mixing older Geowave or generic Windows wireless drivers.
