Question 1

Installer fails or stalls?

Accepted Answer

Run the Genius Navigator 380 driver/utility as administrator, disconnect other USB mice during setup, and temporarily disable antivirus. If setup still fails, uninstall older Genius wireless mouse software, reboot, then reinstall the Windows 10/11-compatible package.

Question 2

Mouse not detected?

Accepted Answer

Replace the battery, use a direct rear USB port, and re-pair the receiver if needed (plug receiver, hold connect button, then mouse pairing button). Check Device Manager for HID-compliant mouse or unknown USB device.

Question 3

Button/wheel conflicts after update?

Accepted Answer

Remove duplicate HID mouse entries and old Genius drivers in Device Manager, reboot, and reinstall the latest Navigator 380 software. Avoid running two button-assignment utilities at once.
