Question 1

Driver install fails?

Accepted Answer

Run the Genius KY RS9600 installer as administrator and, if needed, in compatibility mode for your Windows version. Temporarily disable antivirus if it blocks the setup.

Question 2

Keyboard not detected?

Accepted Answer

Connect the KY RS9600 directly to a rear USB port, not a hub. In Device Manager, scan for hardware changes and check for unknown/HID keyboard devices; reconnect the keyboard.

Question 3

Driver/version conflicts?

Accepted Answer

Uninstall any previous Genius keyboard software and related HID entries, reboot, then install the latest KY RS9600 driver package. Avoid mixing old utilities with new drivers.
