Name: Genesys Logic USB3.0 Card Reader Driver
Author: Genesys Logic

Question 1

Install fails or rolls back?

Accepted Answer

Disconnect the card reader, remove any existing Genesys Logic USB card reader driver in Device Manager (enable hidden devices), reboot, then run the installer as administrator.

Question 2

Device not detected or cards unreadable?

Accepted Answer

Try another USB 3.0 port directly on the PC, not a hub. Reseat the SD/microSD card and check Disk Management. If Windows reports “Unknown USB Device,” uninstall it, scan for hardware changes, and reinstall the driver.

Question 3

Version conflicts or Code 10/43?

Accepted Answer

Match the driver to your Windows version and USB 3.0 host controller. If a Windows Update driver breaks the reader, roll back in Device Manager, then reinstall the Genesys Logic package.
