Question 1

Installer fails or rolls back?

Accepted Answer

Run the Gemini CDMP 7000 L driver installer as Administrator, disconnect other USB audio devices, and temporarily disable antivirus. Confirm the package matches your Windows version and architecture.

Question 2

Device not detected?

Accepted Answer

Use a direct rear USB port instead of a hub, try a known-good USB cable, and power the CDMP 7000 L on before opening Windows Sound settings. Verify the unit is in USB audio/PC mode, then rescan Device Manager.

Question 3

Version conflicts or audio dropouts?

Accepted Answer

Uninstall older Gemini audio drivers, set the CDMP 7000 L as the default playback device, and disable exclusive mode or match the sample rate (44.1/48 kHz) to avoid WDM/ASIO conflicts.
