Question 1

Install fails or stalls?

Accepted Answer

Close DAWs and MIDI/audio apps, run the driver installer as administrator, temporarily disable antivirus, and reboot before connecting the DTX drum module.

Question 2

Device not detected?

Accepted Answer

Connect the DTX module directly to a rear USB port—avoid hubs—power it on before opening your DAW, and check Device Manager for an unknown USB-MIDI device. Try another USB cable/port.

Question 3

Driver/version conflicts?

Accepted Answer

Uninstall any older manufacturer USB-MIDI driver first, reboot, then install the latest version. In your DAW, select the DTX module as the MIDI input and avoid running multiple driver versions.
