Question 1

Install or launch fails?

Accepted Answer

Extract Double Driver to a local writable folder rather than Program Files, run `DoubleDriver.exe` as administrator, install any required .NET/runtime, and whitelist it in antivirus if blocked.

Question 2

Devices or drivers missing from backup?

Accepted Answer

Connect and power the device, enable it in Device Manager, then rescan. Run Double Driver as administrator and enable non-plug-and-play/offline driver display before backing up.

Question 3

Restore conflicts or BSOD?

Accepted Answer

Restore only backups made for the same Windows architecture/version, create a restore point first, and roll back the affected device in Device Manager or Safe Mode if it fails.
