Name: Belkin Nostromo SpeedPad n52 Driver
Author: Belkin

Question 1

Install fails or rolls back?

Accepted Answer

Run the Belkin/Nostromo installer as administrator and in Windows XP SP3 compatibility mode. If Windows blocks the old unsigned driver, use a signed package or temporarily disable driver signature enforcement only during installation, then re-enable it.

Question 2

Device not detected?

Accepted Answer

Connect the n52 directly to a rear USB 2.0 port, not a hub. Check Device Manager for an unknown device, unplug/replug, and reinstall the n52 driver. Test another PC to rule out a cable or port fault.

Question 3

Version conflicts?

Accepted Answer

Uninstall any prior Belkin Nostromo, n52, or Razer keypad software, reboot, then install the single driver/software version matching the n52. Do not mix n50/n52/Razer builds or run two keypad utilities together.
