Name: Behringer UMC202HD Driver
Author: Behringer

Question 1

Install fails or stalls?

Accepted Answer

Disconnect the UMC202HD, run the official Behringer UMC driver installer as administrator, temporarily disable antivirus, and allow the signed driver. Reboot, then connect to a direct USB 2.0 port.

Question 2

Device not detected?

Accepted Answer

Try a different USB cable and a rear motherboard USB 2.0 port—not a hub. Power-cycle the UMC202HD, check Device Manager under Sound, video and game controllers, and select the UMC as the audio/ASIO device in your DAW.

Question 3

Driver/ASIO conflicts?

Accepted Answer

Uninstall older Behringer UMC drivers, ASIO4ALL, and unused USB audio drivers; remove hidden audio devices, reboot, then install the latest official driver. Use either the UMC ASIO driver or ASIO4ALL, not both, and match the sample rate in Windows and your DAW.
