The AOC 2343 display driver helps Windows identify your monitor and apply the display information supplied by AOC. Although it may appear under a GPU category, this is a monitor driver—not a replacement for your graphics card driver. For Windows 11, 10, 8, or 7, select a package that explicitly supports your operating system and exact monitor model.

Key Features

  • Monitor identification: Allows Windows to recognize the AOC 2343 by its model name rather than relying solely on a generic monitor entry.
  • Display configuration information: Supplies monitor-specific details that can help Windows and your graphics driver select supported display modes.
  • Color profile support: If the package includes an ICC or ICM profile, it can provide a starting point for color management in compatible applications.
  • Standard Windows integration: Uses Windows monitor-driver installation tools without replacing the software that controls your GPU.

How to Install

  1. Confirm your monitor and Windows version. Check the model label on the display, then verify your Windows edition and system type in Settings or Control Panel. Make sure the download lists your AOC 2343 model and operating system.
  2. Download and extract the package. Save it to a local folder. If it arrives as a ZIP archive, extract the contents before continuing. Review any included installation notes.
  3. Use the supplied installer, if available. Run the setup program and follow its instructions. If the package contains only driver files, open Device Manager, expand Monitors, and select the entry corresponding to your connected display.
  4. Install the driver manually if needed. Right-click the monitor, choose Update driver, then select Browse my computer for drivers. Point Windows to the extracted folder and follow the prompts.
  5. Check the result. Restart if requested, then review the monitor entry in Device Manager and confirm your resolution and refresh rate in Windows display settings.

A monitor driver does not add graphics-processing performance or enable resolutions beyond the display’s hardware limits. If Windows reports that the best driver is already installed, the generic monitor driver may already provide normal operation. For flickering, missing resolution options, or connection problems, also check the cable and update the graphics driver from your GPU manufacturer.

Common Issues and Fixes

  • Driver install fails or stalls: Extract the AOC 2343 driver package first, then install the INF manually via Device Manager > Monitors > Update driver > Browse my computer > Let me pick > Have Disk. Run the installer as administrator and avoid installing over a pending Windows update.
  • Monitor not detected / shows as Generic PnP Monitor: Confirm the video cable and input source, try another port/cable, then use Device Manager > Action > Scan for hardware changes. Update the driver under Monitors, not Display adapters.
  • Version conflicts or wrong resolution/refresh rate: Uninstall existing AOC/Generic monitor entries in Device Manager, reboot, and reinstall the matching AOC 2343 package. If a recent driver causes blank screens, roll back to the previous monitor driver.
