Name: Zyxel ZyAIR B 2000 Driver
Author: Zyxel

Question 1

Install fails or rolls back?

Accepted Answer

Use the correct 32/64-bit Windows package for the ZyAIR B 2000 and run Setup as Administrator. If Windows blocks the legacy unsigned driver, temporarily disable driver signature enforcement, install, then re-enable it.

Question 2

Device not detected?

Accepted Answer

Reseat the ZyAIR card/adapter firmly, try another slot or USB port, and check Device Manager for “Unknown Device” or “Network Controller.” Remove old ZyXEL WLAN entries before rescanning.

Question 3

Version conflicts?

Accepted Answer

Uninstall previous ZyXEL or generic wireless drivers, reboot, and install only one ZyAIR B 2000 driver version. If the installer predates your Windows version, use Compatibility Mode and avoid running multiple Wi-Fi configuration utilities.
