Name: ZyXEL AG 225H v2 802.11a g WiFi Finder USB Adapter Driver
Author: Zyxel

Question 1

Install fails or setup exits early?

Accepted Answer

Run the ZyXEL installer as Administrator and use Windows compatibility mode for the driver’s original OS. If Windows blocks the legacy 802.11a/g driver, temporarily disable driver signature enforcement, then reinstall.

Question 2

Adapter not detected?

Accepted Answer

Plug the AG-225H v2 directly into a rear USB port, not a hub. Check Device Manager for “Unknown device”; if present, uninstall it, reboot, and run the ZyXEL driver setup before reconnecting the adapter.

Question 3

Version conflicts?

Accepted Answer

Remove any existing ZyXEL/WLAN drivers and disable other wireless adapters during installation. Confirm you have the v2 driver matching the USB hardware ID; do not force a v1 or generic Ralink driver.
