Question 1

Driver install fails?

Accepted Answer

Run the ZTE V768 driver installer as administrator. If Windows blocks the older driver, use a signed package compatible with your Windows version and check that you downloaded the correct 32/64-bit build.

Question 2

Device not detected?

Accepted Answer

Use a data-capable USB cable and connect directly to the PC. On the phone, set USB mode to Mass Storage/MTP, or enable USB debugging for ADB use. Check Device Manager for an unknown device or yellow warning icon.

Question 3

Version conflicts?

Accepted Answer

Uninstall existing ZTE/Android USB drivers, including hidden devices, then reboot. Reinstall the V768 driver. If Device Manager shows Code 10/43, manually update the driver and point it to the extracted `.inf` file.
