Name: ZTE MF626 Driver
Author: ZTE

Question 1

Driver install fails?

Accepted Answer

Run the installer as Administrator and use Windows compatibility mode if needed. Temporarily disable driver signature enforcement on older Windows versions, then reinstall the ZTE MF626 driver.

Question 2

Device not detected?

Accepted Answer

Try another USB port directly on the PC, not a hub. Check Device Manager for unknown devices or COM ports; uninstall any failed entry, replug the MF626, and let Windows re-detect it.

Question 3

Version conflicts?

Accepted Answer

Uninstall existing ZTE modem software and old driver packages first, including hidden devices in Device Manager. Reboot before installing the correct MF626 driver version for your Windows build.
