Question 1

Installer fails or rolls back?

Accepted Answer

Uninstall any older ZTE MF60/Mobile Broadband package first, run the driver installer as administrator, and reboot before retrying. Use the official signed package; if Windows blocks it, check Device Manager for an unsigned/unknown driver rather than forcing installation.

Question 2

Device not detected?

Accepted Answer

Plug the MF60 directly into a rear USB port (no hub), reseat the SIM, and try another cable/port. In Device Manager, remove any unknown USB modem entries, then rescan for hardware.

Question 3

Driver/version conflicts?

Accepted Answer

Remove previous ZTE modem drivers and “ZTE Mobile Broadband” utilities in Apps & Features, delete leftover modem/COM port entries in Device Manager, reboot, then install only the current MF60 driver package.
