Name: ZOOM H2 SD R W USB Device Driver
Author: Zoom

Question 1

Install fails or Windows requests a driver?

Accepted Answer

In SD Card Reader mode, the H2 uses Windows’ built-in USB Mass Storage driver. Don’t force-install an H2 audio driver; set the H2 to SD Card Reader mode before connecting and let Windows Update handle it.

Question 2

Device not detected?

Accepted Answer

Use a data-capable mini-USB cable and a direct port, not a hub. Confirm SD Card Reader mode is selected, the SD card is seated, and check Disk Management for the drive.

Question 3

Version conflicts with H2 audio drivers?

Accepted Answer

If you also use the H2 as a USB audio interface, uninstall old ZOOM ASIO/WDM drivers, reboot, then reconnect in card-reader mode. Don’t use audio-interface and card-reader modes at the same time.
