Question 1

USB driver install fails?

Accepted Answer

On Windows 10/11, blocked or unsigned ZK drivers can stop setup. Run the installer as administrator, temporarily disable driver signature enforcement, install the iClock 880 USB driver, reboot, then reconnect the terminal.

Question 2

Device not detected?

Accepted Answer

Confirm the iClock 880 is in USB communication mode, try another USB port/cable, and check Device Manager for a missing COM port. For Ethernet, verify the terminal’s IP, subnet, and firewall rules, then match the port in the attendance software.

Question 3

Version/driver conflicts?

Accepted Answer

Uninstall older ZKAccess/Pull SDK or generic USB-serial drivers first. In Device Manager, remove the existing device and select “Delete the driver software,” reboot, then install only the driver matching your iClock 880 firmware and software.
