Question 1

Install fails on Windows 10/11?

The ZK USB driver may be blocked as unsigned. Run the installer as administrator; if Windows still rejects it, temporarily disable driver signature enforcement, install, then reboot.

Try a rear USB port and a known-good cable. For Ethernet, put the PC and clock on the same subnet, ping the device, and allow TCP port 4370 through the firewall.
