Name: ZK Software U260 C Driver
Author: ZK Software

Question 1

Driver install fails or is blocked by Windows?

Accepted Answer

Run the installer as administrator and use the correct 32-bit/64-bit package for your Windows version. If Windows blocks the older ZK driver, check the publisher and only use a trusted signed release; avoid forcing unsigned drivers unless absolutely necessary.

Question 2

U260 C not detected?

Accepted Answer

Confirm the fingerprint terminal is powered and connected directly to a rear USB port, not a hub. In Device Manager, check for “Unknown Device” or a COM/USB entry, then uninstall it and rescan. Try a known-good USB cable.

Question 3

Version conflicts with existing ZK software/drivers?

Accepted Answer

Uninstall older ZK USB drivers and attendance software first, reboot, then install one matching driver/software set. Mixed 32/64-bit or SDK versions can prevent the U260 C from connecting.
