Question 1

Driver install fails?

Accepted Answer

Run the ZK installer as administrator and allow the USB driver to install. If Windows blocks it, temporarily disable driver signature enforcement, reboot, then reinstall the MultiBio 700 driver.

Question 2

Device not detected?

Accepted Answer

Confirm the terminal is powered and connected by USB or Ethernet. Check Device Manager for unknown devices; install the ZK USB driver before the management software. For network use, set the PC and MultiBio 700 to the same subnet and verify IP/port settings.

Question 3

Version conflicts?

Accepted Answer

Uninstall older ZK drivers and software, remove hidden USB devices in Device Manager, reboot, then install the driver version matching your MultiBio 700 firmware. Avoid mixing drivers from different ZK packages.
