Question 1

Install fails or rolls back?

Accepted Answer

Uninstall older Zebra/ZDesigner drivers and delete any existing ZM600 print queue first. Run the Zebra installer as administrator and select the ZM600 model with the correct 200 dpi resolution; generic Windows label drivers often cause setup errors.

Question 2

Printer not detected?

Accepted Answer

Confirm the ZM600 is powered on and connected through the intended port—USB, serial, parallel, or Ethernet. Create the queue on the matching port, such as USB001 for local USB or the printer’s TCP/IP address for network, and avoid WSD ports.

Question 3

Version conflicts or duplicate queues?

Accepted Answer

Remove conflicting Zebra driver versions in Print Management, reboot, then reinstall the current ZDesigner driver. Keep only one ZM600 200 dpi queue and test-print before setting it as default.
