Name: Zebra ZDesigner S4M 203dpi ZPL Driver
Author: Zebra

Question 1

Install fails or hangs?

Accepted Answer

Run the installer as administrator, remove any existing ZDesigner/S4M driver packages, and use Zebra Setup Utilities to install the correct S4M 203dpi ZPL driver. Reboot before retrying.

Question 2

Printer not detected?

Accepted Answer

Power-cycle the S4M, check the USB/parallel/Ethernet connection, and confirm Windows is using the correct port. For network models, verify the IP and create a TCP/IP port manually.

Question 3

Version or driver conflicts?

Accepted Answer

Uninstall old ZDesigner queues, clear the print spooler, and remove duplicate S4M entries in Devices and Printers. Reinstall only the 203dpi ZPL driver, not an EPL or generic Zebra package.
