Name: Zebra Z4000 (300 dpi) Driver
Author: Zebra

Question 1

Driver install fails or rolls back?

Accepted Answer

Disconnect the Z4000, remove old Zebra card-printer drivers and ports via Print Management, reboot, then run the installer as administrator. Connect USB only when prompted.

Question 2

Device not detected?

Accepted Answer

Use a direct USB port instead of a hub, try a known-good cable, and power on the Z4000 before checking Device Manager. Remove any unknown Zebra USB device, then reinstall the Card Printer Driver.

Question 3

Version or DPI conflicts?

Accepted Answer

Old ZMotif/Zebra drivers or the wrong 300 dpi model can cause print errors. Uninstall previous drivers, delete the printer queue, and install the matching Z4000 300 dpi package only.
