Name: Zebra TLP2844 Driver
Author: Zebra

Question 1

Install fails or stalls?

Accepted Answer

Run the Zebra installer as administrator, disconnect the TLP2844 until prompted, and use Zebra Setup Utilities to select the correct port (USB001 or LPT).

Question 2

Device not detected?

Accepted Answer

Check power, media, and cable; connect USB directly rather than through a hub. Restart the Print Spooler and confirm the TLP2844 appears in Device Manager/Printers. For parallel models, ensure the LPT port is enabled.

Question 3

Version conflicts or duplicate queues?

Accepted Answer

Remove old Zebra, Generic/Text Only, and duplicate TLP2844 printer queues, restart the spooler, then install one driver version matching Windows 32/64-bit. Set the correct queue as default.
