Question 1

Install fails or stalls?

Accepted Answer

Run the Zebra P120i driver installer as administrator, disconnect other Zebra card printers, and remove any existing P120i entries in Devices and Printers before retrying.

Question 2

Device not detected over USB?

Accepted Answer

Use a direct USB 2.0 port on the PC, not a hub. Confirm the P120i is powered on and ready, then check Device Manager for an unknown USB device and reinstall the driver.

Question 3

Driver version conflicts?

Accepted Answer

Uninstall older Zebra Card Printer drivers and related utilities, reboot, then install only the matching P120i package for your Windows version.
