Name: ZDesigner ZT230 300dpi ZPL Driver
Author: Zebra

Question 1

Install fails or wrong resolution?

Accepted Answer

Use the Zebra ZDesigner package matching Windows and select the ZT230 300 dpi model, not 203 dpi. Run as administrator and remove any failed print queue before retrying.

Question 2

Device not detected?

Accepted Answer

Confirm the ZT230 is powered, in ZPL mode, and connected via USB/Ethernet. For network, verify IP and port 9100; for USB, try another cable/port and refresh Device Manager.

Question 3

Version conflicts/old queues?

Accepted Answer

Uninstall previous Zebra drivers and duplicate ZT230 queues, reboot, then install the current ZDesigner driver. Avoid mixing Generic/Text Only with ZDesigner; reset the driver to 300 dpi after upgrades.
