Name: Wacom GD 0912 U Driver
Author: Wacom

Question 1

Installer fails or rolls back on modern Windows?

Accepted Answer

The GD-0912-U is a legacy Intuos 9x12 USB tablet. Use the last Wacom driver that lists Intuos GD support, not current Wacom Center. Run the installer as administrator in Windows 7 compatibility mode, reboot, then connect the tablet.

Question 2

Tablet not detected?

Accepted Answer

Plug it directly into a rear USB 2.0 port, not a hub or USB 3 adapter. Check Device Manager for unknown/USB errors, try another cable/port, and reconnect only after the driver install finishes.

Question 3

Driver version conflicts?

Accepted Answer

Uninstall all Wacom drivers and tablet services, remove stale Wacom entries in Device Manager, reboot, then install one legacy GD-compatible driver. Do not mix it with Bamboo/Intuos Pro drivers; pressure or pen-button failures usually clear after a clean reinstall.
