Name: Wacom Penabled HID MiniDriver Driver
Author: Wacom

Question 1

Install fails or rolls back?

Accepted Answer

The MiniDriver INF must match Windows architecture and be signed for your OS. Extract the package, right-click the INF/installer and Run as administrator; in Device Manager use Update driver > Browse > Let me pick > Have Disk and point to the MiniDriver INF. Reboot before retrying.

Question 2

Device not detected?

Accepted Answer

Confirm the pen/digitizer appears under Human Interface Devices (HID-compliant pen or Wacom Penabled). If it shows with a warning, uninstall that entry, rescan hardware, and reinstall the MiniDriver. Check that the tablet’s pen/HID service is enabled and no generic HID driver is bound instead.

Question 3

Version conflicts?

Accepted Answer

Remove other Wacom tablet/Penabled drivers and duplicate HID pen entries, reboot, then install only the MiniDriver version for your device. Mixing ISD4/Wacom Tablet drivers can cause pressure or pen failures.
