Question 1

Install fails or rolls back?

Accepted Answer

Disconnect the tablet, remove old Wacom entries in Device Manager (enable “Show hidden devices”), then run the installer as administrator. Reconnect only after setup completes.

Question 2

Tablet not detected, or pen works but touch does not?

Accepted Answer

Check Device Manager for Wacom HID and touch devices, reinstall the Wacom driver, reboot, and confirm the tablet is configured for Penabled Dual Touch in Wacom Tablet Properties.

Question 3

Version conflicts after Windows Update?

Accepted Answer

Uninstall the current Wacom driver, restart, and install the package matching your Windows build. Avoid mixing older control panel and driver versions; keep a known-good version if auto-update causes issues.
