Name: Wacom Cintiq 17SX Driver
Author: Wacom

Question 1

Installer fails or stalls?

Accepted Answer

Disconnect the Cintiq 17SX before installing, uninstall any existing Wacom drivers, reboot, then run the installer as administrator. Reconnect the pen display only when prompted.

Question 2

Device not detected?

Accepted Answer

Confirm the Cintiq is powered on and the correct video input is selected. Reseat the video and USB cables, try a different USB port, and avoid unpowered hubs. Check Device Manager for unknown devices.

Question 3

Driver/version conflicts?

Accepted Answer

Remove all old Wacom entries and tablet services before installing a single compatible driver version. Mixing legacy Cintiq drivers with newer Wacom drivers can cause missing pressure or pen mapping issues.
