Question 1

Install fails or rolls back?

Accepted Answer

Disconnect the OneTouch 7300, uninstall any existing Visioneer/OneTouch software, reboot, and run the driver installer as administrator. On newer Windows, try Compatibility Mode for the installer’s supported Windows version.

Question 2

Scanner not detected?

Accepted Answer

Check the USB cable and power, use a direct rear USB port instead of a hub, and confirm the scanner appears in Device Manager. If it does not, reinstall the Visioneer driver and rescan for hardware.

Question 3

TWAIN/WIA or version conflicts?

Accepted Answer

Remove older Visioneer drivers and duplicate scanner entries in Device Manager/Printers & Scanners, reboot, then install one matching driver package. Select the correct TWAIN/WIA source in your scanning app.
