Author: ViXS

Question 1

Install fails or rolls back?

Accepted Answer

Run the ViXS PureTV U 48B0 installer as administrator, match the Windows architecture (32/64-bit), and reboot before retrying. If setup still fails, remove any previous tuner package first.

Question 2

Device not detected?

Accepted Answer

Plug the tuner directly into a rear USB 2.0 port, not a hub. Check Device Manager for an unknown device or USB VID/PID error, then reinstall after a full power cycle.

Question 3

Version conflicts?

Accepted Answer

Uninstall older PureTV or other TV tuner drivers and remove hidden tuner devices in Device Manager. Reboot, then install only one NTSC/ATSC combo driver package matching your Windows version.
