Name: Vimicro USB PC Camera (ZC0301) Driver
Author: Vimicro

Question 1

Install fails or driver won’t load?

Accepted Answer

ZC0301 drivers are legacy and may be unsigned or blocked on newer Windows. Run the installer as administrator, then update manually via Device Manager > Camera > Update driver > Browse and select the extracted `.inf` folder.

Question 2

Device not detected?

Accepted Answer

Try a different USB port, avoid hubs, and check the cable. In Device Manager, enable Show hidden devices, uninstall any greyed-out ZC0301 entries, then scan for hardware changes. Confirm the camera isn’t disabled or blocked by privacy settings.

Question 3

Version conflicts?

Accepted Answer

Remove older Vimicro/other webcam drivers before installing. If Windows installed a generic USB Video driver, uninstall the device and delete its driver, reboot, then install the ZC0301 package once. Avoid mixing multiple driver versions.
