Question 1

Driver install fails or is blocked?

Accepted Answer

The VA903b package is often an older monitor INF/color profile. Run setup as administrator, right-click the downloaded file > Properties > Unblock, and try Windows Update > Optional updates if the installer won’t run on Windows 10/11.

Question 2

Monitor not detected after install?

Accepted Answer

Reseat the VGA/DVI cable, select the correct input on the VA903b, and use Settings > Display > Detect. If still missing, roll back to “Generic PnP Monitor” in Device Manager.

Question 3

Version or color-profile conflicts?

Accepted Answer

Remove old ViewSonic monitor entries and stale VA903b profiles in Device Manager and Color Management before reinstalling. Don’t install drivers for other VA-series models.
