Name: UTAX XC 9036 Driver
Author: UTAX

Question 1

Install fails or setup stops midway?

Accepted Answer

Disconnect the UTAX XC 9036 USB cable, remove any partially installed UTAX driver from Apps & Features, restart Windows, then run the downloaded driver setup as administrator.

Question 2

Device not detected?

Accepted Answer

For USB, try a direct rear-port connection and a known-good cable. For network, confirm the XC 9036 has a valid IP address and that Windows can ping it; add the printer by IP if auto-discovery fails.

Question 3

Driver/version conflicts or wrong port?

Accepted Answer

Remove older UTAX/Xerox-compatible drivers, install the correct XC 9036 Windows package, and ensure the printer uses the matching USB or Standard TCP/IP port—not a WSD port unless required.
