Name: UTAX P 3521DN KX XPS Driver
Author: UTAX

Question 1

Install fails or rolls back?

Accepted Answer

Remove any existing UTAX P 3521DN or generic KX printer entry first, then run the XPS driver installer as administrator. If setup still fails, clear the print spooler (`net stop spooler`, delete stuck jobs in `C:WindowsSystem32spoolPRINTERS`, restart spooler) and retry.

Question 2

Device not detected?

Accepted Answer

For USB, connect the P 3521DN directly to a rear USB 2.0 port, not a hub; try another cable. For network, confirm the printer’s IP, ping it, and add the printer by IP rather than hostname.

Question 3

Version conflicts / wrong driver?

Accepted Answer

Uninstall older UTAX KX or P 3521DN driver packages via Print Management (`printui /s /t2`), restart the spooler, then install only the current KX XPS package. Set it as default and avoid mixing XPS and PCL drivers on the same queue.
