Question 1

Install fails or stalls?

Accepted Answer

Remove any existing UTAX LP 3335 KX printer queue and old UTAX/KX driver entries, restart the Print Spooler service, then run the installer as administrator.

Question 2

Device not detected?

Accepted Answer

Confirm the printer is on and connected to the correct USB port, or verify the network IP address. Create/select the matching port and test with a ping before reinstalling the driver.

Question 3

Version conflicts?

Accepted Answer

Windows Update or an older UTAX package may install a generic/duplicate driver. Delete duplicate queues, reinstall the correct LP 3335 KX driver, and set it as the default printer.
