Name: UTAX LP 3245 LP 4245 Driver
Author: UTAX

Question 1

Install fails or rolls back on Windows?

Accepted Answer

Disconnect USB, remove any existing UTAX LP 3245/4245 print queue, run the installer as administrator, then reconnect the printer only after setup completes.

Question 2

Device not detected?

Accepted Answer

Use a direct USB port instead of a hub, confirm the network IP is reachable, and add the LP 3245/4245 manually with a TCP/IP port. Restart the print spooler if the queue is stuck.

Question 3

Driver version conflict?

Accepted Answer

Uninstall old UTAX or generic PCL drivers, reboot, then install the exact LP 3245 or LP 4245 package. Do not force the other model’s driver; verify model and port in Printers & scanners.
