Name: UTAX LP 3240 KX Driver
Author: UTAX

Question 1

Install fails or stalls?

Accepted Answer

Disconnect the USB cable, remove old UTAX/KX printer queues in Devices and Printers, run the installer as administrator, reboot, then reconnect. Use the LP 3240 KX package for your Windows architecture.

Question 2

Device not detected?

Accepted Answer

For USB, use a rear port directly and power-cycle the printer. For network, confirm the PC and printer are on the same subnet; if auto-discovery fails, add the printer manually by IP.

Question 3

Driver/version conflicts?

Accepted Answer

Uninstall previous UTAX LP 3240 KX drivers, delete leftover ports/queues, and install the latest signed KX driver only—avoid mixing KX and non-KX packages.
