Name: UTAX DCC 2930 KX Driver
Author: UTAX

Question 1

Install fails or stalls?

Accepted Answer

Disconnect USB, remove any existing UTAX/KX driver and queue, run the installer as administrator, and select the DCC 2930 KX manually if auto-detect fails.

Question 2

Device not detected?

Accepted Answer

Confirm the MFP is on the same network/subnet and add it by IP address rather than hostname. For USB, use a direct rear-port connection and a known-good cable.

Question 3

Driver/version conflicts?

Accepted Answer

Uninstall old UTAX/KX packages, remove leftover queues and ports, install the latest DCC 2930 KX driver, then restart the print spooler. Avoid mixing PCL and KX drivers on one queue.
