Name: UTAX CD 1120 DC 2120 KX Driver
Author: UTAX

Question 1

Install fails or stops midway?

Accepted Answer

Remove any existing UTAX/KX printer driver first, run the installer as administrator, and temporarily disable antivirus. Confirm the package matches your Windows version and 32/64-bit architecture.

Question 2

Device not detected?

Accepted Answer

Power-cycle the CD 1120 / DC 2120 KX, try a different USB port/cable, or verify the network IP and subnet. For network models, add the printer manually by IP if auto-discovery fails.

Question 3

Version conflicts or duplicate queues?

Accepted Answer

Delete old printer entries and drivers in Print Management, reboot, then install the latest UTAX package. If scanning fails, reinstall the WIA/TWAIN scanner driver and check the device in Device Manager.
