Name: UTAX 2500ci Driver
Author: UTAX

Question 1

Install fails or stalls?

Accepted Answer

Remove any existing UTAX/Kyocera print driver for the 2500ci, run the downloaded package as administrator, and temporarily disable antivirus/web protection during setup. Reboot before retrying.

Question 2

Device not detected?

Accepted Answer

Confirm the 2500ci is on the same subnet as the PC. For network installs, add a standard TCP/IP port using the copier’s current IP, enable SNMP, and allow the installer through Windows Firewall. For USB, use a direct rear-port connection and a known-good cable.

Question 3

Driver/version conflicts?

Accepted Answer

Uninstall older UTAX universal or model-specific drivers, including leftover queues and ports, then install only the latest 2500ci package matching Windows version and 32/64-bit architecture. Avoid mixing KX/UTAX universal and package drivers.
