Name: USB VIDBOX Audio Driver
Author: VIDBOX

Question 1

Installer fails or rolls back?

Accepted Answer

Run the setup as administrator, temporarily disable antivirus, and unplug the USB VIDBOX Audio until installation finishes. Reconnect directly to a rear USB 2.0 port, not a hub.

Question 2

Device not detected?

Accepted Answer

Try a different USB cable/port. In Device Manager, uninstall any yellow-marked “Unknown USB Device” or old VIDBOX entry, then rescan. Confirm “VIDBOX Audio” appears under Sound, video and game controllers.

Question 3

No input or version conflicts?

Accepted Answer

Uninstall older VIDBOX/USB audio drivers first. In Windows Sound > Recording, set VIDBOX Audio as default, then match its sample rate (44.1 or 48 kHz) under Properties > Advanced and restart your recording app.
