Question 1

Install fails or stalls?

Accepted Answer

Run the iLok driver installer as administrator, temporarily disable antivirus, remove any older iLok/PACE driver in Device Manager, then reboot before reinstalling.

Question 2

iLok not detected?

Accepted Answer

Connect the iLok directly to a rear USB port, not a hub or front-panel port. Try another cable/port, check Device Manager for unknown devices, and confirm iLok License Manager recognizes it.

Question 3

Version conflicts?

Accepted Answer

Uninstall existing iLok/PACE drivers and iLok License Manager, reboot, then install the latest versions from the manufacturer. Reconnect the iLok only after installation completes.
