Question 1

Install fails or stalls?

Accepted Answer

Disconnect the Apollo Twin USB DUO, fully uninstall any previous UAD software, temporarily disable antivirus, and run the latest UAD installer as administrator. Reboot before reconnecting the interface.

Question 2

Device not detected?

Accepted Answer

Use a direct USB 3.0 port and the supplied USB 3 cable—avoid hubs and USB 2.0 ports. Install UAD software first, power-cycle the Apollo, then check Windows Device Manager and UAD Control Panel.

Question 3

Version/firmware conflicts?

Accepted Answer

Mismatched UAD software and Apollo firmware can cause dropouts or authorization errors. Uninstall old UAD versions, install the current Windows release, and complete any firmware update prompted by UAD Control Panel before opening your DAW.
