Name: Ubiquiti WifiStation Ext USB 802.11 b g n Wireless Network Adapter Driver
Author: Ubiquiti

Question 1

Install fails or rolls back?

Accepted Answer

Use the correct 32/64-bit driver for your Windows version, run the installer as administrator, and temporarily disable driver signature enforcement if the package is unsigned. Reboot before retrying.

Question 2

Device not detected?

Accepted Answer

Try a rear USB 2.0 port directly on the PC, not a hub. Reinsert the adapter and check Device Manager for unknown/USB devices; rescan hardware. If it still does not appear, test another port or PC.

Question 3

Version conflicts / adapter won’t start?

Accepted Answer

Uninstall existing Ubiquiti/Wi‑Fi adapter drivers and the old device entry, then install the matching WifiStation Ext package. Disable other wireless adapters during setup so Windows does not bind the wrong driver.
