Name: TVS RP 45 Driver
Author: TVS

Question 1

Driver install fails or rolls back?

Accepted Answer

Run the TVS RP 45 setup as administrator, disconnect the printer’s USB/serial cable during installation, then reconnect when prompted. Temporarily disable antivirus if it blocks the installer.

Question 2

Device not detected?

Accepted Answer

Power-cycle the RP 45, use a direct USB port instead of a hub, or confirm the correct COM port for serial models. In Device Manager, check for “Unknown device” and manually update the driver from the extracted TVS package.

Question 3

Version conflicts or old driver remains?

Accepted Answer

Uninstall any previous TVS RP 45 or generic receipt-printer driver, choose “Delete driver software,” restart Windows, then install the latest TVS package. Confirm the RP 45 is selected as the default printer and uses the correct port.
