Name: TVS MSP 245 STAR Driver
Author: TVS

Question 1

Install fails or rolls back?

Accepted Answer

Use the TVS MSP 245 STAR driver package matching your Windows version and architecture, run setup as administrator, and close security software temporarily. If Windows rejects an unsigned/legacy dot-matrix driver, install it in compatibility mode for the supported Windows version.

Question 2

Printer not detected?

Accepted Answer

Confirm the MSP 245 STAR is powered on and connected to the correct USB or parallel port; try another cable/port. Check Device Manager for unknown devices, then add the printer manually and select the matching TVS port.

Question 3

Version conflicts?

Accepted Answer

Uninstall older TVS and generic dot-matrix drivers, restart, then install the latest MSP 245 STAR driver. Remove duplicate printer queues and set the correct port as default.
