Question 1

Install fails or rolls back?

Accepted Answer

Run the Trust driver installer as administrator and temporarily disable antivirus. Remove any existing Bluetooth stack or older Trust adapter software first, then reboot before reinstalling.

Question 2

Adapter not detected?

Accepted Answer

Try a different USB port, preferably directly on the PC rather than a hub. Check Device Manager for unknown devices, and reinsert the adapter after the installer finishes.

Question 3

Driver/version conflicts?

Accepted Answer

Windows may load a generic Bluetooth driver instead of the Trust package. Uninstall the current Bluetooth device and driver, reboot, then install the correct Trust Bluetooth 2.1 Adapter driver for your Windows version and architecture.
