Question 1

Install fails or stalls?

Accepted Answer

Download the TSC TTP-244CE driver matching your Windows version and 32/64-bit architecture. Run the installer as administrator, disconnect the printer until prompted, and remove older TSC or Seagull driver entries before rebooting.

Question 2

Device not detected?

Accepted Answer

Confirm the TTP-244CE is powered on and connected directly to a USB port, not a hub. Try another USB cable or the correct serial/parallel port, then check Device Manager for unknown devices and set the matching printer port.

Question 3

Version or port conflicts?

Accepted Answer

Delete duplicate TTP-244CE printer queues, restart the Print Spooler service, and install the latest TSC driver. Assign the correct USB/serial port and avoid using a generic thermal printer driver.
